Description (Service) COVID-19 St. Vincent De Paul in Collingwood has temporarily suspended their drop-in service for the food bank. To arrange to get food, please call their Helpline 705-444-0999 to make arrangements. Emergency guidance and financial assistance is also still available by calling the Helpline. 
 
A nonprofit, registered charitable organization that works to meet the immediate and basic needs of people 
 
Provides the following regular programs: 
* Emergency Food Bank (food for 2-3 days only, available once a month) 
* Good Food Box - Boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables provided once a month * Voucher are provided at the food bank, but some are delivered to those who are unable to pick up 
* Help line - Emergency guidance or financial assistance for people in need on a one-time basis (may include utilities, furniture, clothing, medical or dental fees etc) Call our hotline 705-444-0999 * leave a message * All requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and assistance is depending on our available funds and the number of requests received * Unfortunately not all requests can be met 
* Back to school backpacks - distribute backpacks and school supplies to eligible students (see separate listing) 
* Post Secondary Educational Assistance Support Grant - not tuition costs. Must be already registered in a program. Assistance may include the one-time help with book or equipment purchase, living or travel expenses (See separate listing)

All other services: Call and leave brief message with phone number and name * A volunteer will call back within 3-4 hours, 9 am-6 pm
