Description (Service) A nonprofit, registered charitable organization that works to meet the immediate and basic needs of people

Provides the following regular programs:
  • Emergency Food Bank (food for 2-3 days only, available once a month)
  • Help line - Emergency guidance or financial assistance for people in need on a one-time basis (may include utilities, furniture, clothing, medical or dental fees etc). Call the hotline 705-444-0999. Leave a message. All requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and assistance is depending on available funds and the number of requests received. Unfortunately not all requests can be met.
  • Post Secondary Educational Assistance Support Grant - not tuition costs. Must be already registered in a program. Assistance may include the one-time help with book or equipment purchase, living or travel expenses (See separate listing)

Hours Food bank: Tue, Thu 2 pm-3 pm
Other Services: Mon-Fri 9 am-6 pm
Areas Served Collingwood
Eligibility Individuals and families in need from Collingwood and Town of Blue Mountains.
Application Food Bank: Available once a month. Appointment recommended, but drop-ins will be accommodated if possible. Please bring your own bags.

All other services: Call and leave brief message with phone number and name. A volunteer will call back within 3-4 hours between 9 am and 5 pm.
